Finally I have time to post a Pic of the day. Im sorry, Life's been crazy and Im hoping to get back on the ball soon. This was taken on my trip to Steamboat, Colorado. This is Fish Creek Falls. A day with the butterflies
Today the family and I took a stroll up to the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster. I came home with a little over 200 shots. To my disappointment Not many were very good. Here is one that I thought was one of the better shots. If you get a chance to visit, take advantage of it. Beautiful place and all kinds of things to look at.

Making it up
So I have been sinc the last 4 days and have not had the motovation to do much. Here are my favorite shots from the past days Ive missed.
This is my pek. getting a kiss in on the baby. This photo was taken on the 14th. Thers a lot of love in this house
This is my nephew Austin holding my baby Skylinn. He stopped by on the 13th to visit. Im still trying to learn the portrait angle of photography so I'll start posing more
Lets see, This was taken on the 12th. Charlie and I left might early to catch the sunrise way out east. Since we take so many shots at the same thing, He and I, I will use this one as the picture of the day. Check out out his blog to see the other swesome shot from that day. Charlie Caudle Blog I used the 300mm on this one to get the birds to stay in the tree.

In The Shade
Its becoming even more challenging finding interesting views to share with the ones who keep watch on the photos. You have to challenge yourself to different aspects and views of different objects. This I choose for the picture of the day because I am intrigued silhouette type photos. You can see the outline of a few geese under the shade tree.

The Storm
I never got a good shot all day I drove to try and find some things that stuck out. Nothing did. Then Northern Colorado had a very nice storm. After playing with settings and sitting around with the sutter open for 3 - 4 minutes at a time, i got this very cool photo. This is right out my front door.

Painting
This is a photo I took today, I was playing around in Photoshop and got it to look like this, I thought this would be a cool start to the blog
Getting the picture
This here is Charlie, he and I had went out last night to get some shots. I figured this would be a great starting picture. Here he is trying to set up his tri-pod in some soft dirt and it is not working for him.
Im sure he'll be happy about this post.
Photos By Ferrell
This blog is inspired by a very good friend of mine Charlie Caudle. Charlie is a great photographer himself and posts his photos as well. I will post a photo a day to help increase my experience and knowledge with photography. Please feel free to constructively critique my photos to help me better learn. Should I forget a day the cause of this would be my new born daughter needing daddy. I will post the following day. If you have any comments questions or suggestions please feel free.
